  ️ How it works

  1. Go to the Haunted Grounds (portal in Edgeville)
  2. Find the bubbling cauldron on the west side of the maze, next to the skilling bosses 🧪
  3. Use a pumpkin on the cauldron to open the Pumpkin Slots
  4. Click SPIN and watch the reels roll!

  Noted pumpkins work too! Bring all of them.
  Got hundreds? Hit SPIN ALL to spin up to 1000 pumpkins at once and get a summary of everything you won.

  Each spin costs 1 pumpkin.

  Where do I get pumpkins?

  All Halloween bosses drop them, combat and skilling:

  • TzTok-Jad & Swamp Lurker: pumpkins every kill (3–6)
  • Shadow Fiend & Pumpkin Golem: 1 in 8 (2–5)
  • Cursed Hellhound & Haunted Tree: 1 in 10 (1–3)
  • Already earned your 3 masks? Every mask roll gives you 5 pumpkins instead!

• 🎃 Halloween Event is LIVE: Haunted Maze & Boss Pits!

  The Halloween Event is LIVE on Oldrune!

  Something wicked has crept into Gielinor... A haunted maze, three cursed boss pits and three skilling bosses are waiting for the bravest adventurers! ️

  The event runs for a limited time (about 2–3 weeks).
  The portal is OPEN! Find the Haunted Grounds portal in Edgeville and step inside!

  ---

  ️ The Haunted Maze

  Find your way through a twisted, fog-filled hedge maze. Reach the old chest in the middle to claim your reward:

  🪓 A Scythe! (once per account)

  ️ You need at least 10 hours of total playtime to enter the portal.

  The Boss Pits

  Next to the maze are three cursed pits, each with its own boss. All pits are multi-combat, so bring your friends!
  There's also a bank chest right next to the pits.

  Cursed Hellhound (easy, level 125)

  A black hellhound with burning orange claws.

  • Melee attacks
  • Sometimes it howls and marks the ground around you: move off the marked tiles before they explode!

  Shadow Fiend (medium, level 175)

  A demon born from the darkest shadows.

  • Strong melee attacks
  • Calls down dark blasts on marked tiles, so keep moving!

  ️ TzTok-Jad (hard, level 250)

  The legendary beast of the Fight Caves has arrived!

  • Magic: he rears up and breathes fire
  • 🪨 Ranged: he stomps the ground and rocks fall on you
  • Melee: if you stand right next to him
  • Watch his animation and switch your protection prayer! The right prayer blocks his attack completely.
  • Shared loot! Everyone who helps fight Jad gets their own drop.

  For the Cursed Hellhound and Shadow Fiend, the drop goes to the player who did the most damage.

  🪓 Skilling Bosses

  Not a fighter? No problem! On the west side of the maze you can take down Halloween bosses with your skills. Every hit gives you XP and sometimes extra logs, coal or sharks.
  ️ They mark the ground under your feet now and then, so stay awake and move off the marked tile! No AFKing.

  Haunted Tree (easy, Woodcutting 1)

  • Bring any axe. Everyone can join!
  • Drop goes to the player who did the most damage

  Pumpkin Golem (medium, Mining 50)

  • Bring any pickaxe
  • It walks around, so keep following it!
  • Drop goes to the player who did the most damage

  Swamp Lurker (hard, Fishing 70)

  • Bring a harpoon (dragon harpoon works too)
  • It walks around, so keep following it!
  • Shared loot! Everyone who helps gets their own drop

  A higher level and a better tool = more damage = faster kills!

  Every mask drop gets announced to the whole server!

  ️ Mask limit: you can earn a maximum of 3 Halloween masks per account (any colour). Masks you already got count too. Once you hit the limit, a mask drop gives you 5 pumpkins instead!

• ⚔️ Double XP Week: 26 October – 1 November!

  Double XP Week is coming!

  Get ready adventurers, it's time to grind! ️

  From Monday 26 October until Sunday 1 November, Oldrune runs a Double XP Week!

  What does that mean?

  Our normal rate is already 2x, and during this week it's doubled again:

  4x XP in total on all skills
  Quest XP rewards count too! That makes it the perfect week to finish those quests you've been putting off

  Tips to make the most of it

  • Stock up on supplies before the event starts
  • Save your quests for this week to get 4x quest XP
  • Team up with friends or your clan and push those levels together

  Share your gains in the Progression category during the week, we want to see those level-ups!
